Frequently Asked Questions

We've listened to your questions and have compiled some of the most frequently asked questions we get in the home care industry. • Do we have to sign a long term home care contract?

No. We have a 24 hour cancelation policy.

  • How quickly can I start In-home care services?

If you are a current Medicaid client, we have to be on your plan of care. Notify your AR Choices RN or Alternatives RN. When that is taken care of, we will be able to start services immediately.

If you are not going through Medicaid, we will send out our intake coordinator to do a free client assessment on each person to see what their needs are. After the assessment is completed, we can assign a qualified aide to assist with care immediately.

  • Is your staff licensed?

Yes, we do have a professionally trained staff that is available to assist you with your needs. They are all required to pass a background check and pre-employment drug testing with continued random testing during their employment.

  • My regular care provider is off tomorrow. Will someone still come help me?

We do have qualified staff that is available to fill in when there is a need for your regular worker to be off work. You will be notified in advance when a replacement is necessary.

  • Are your employees allowed to give medications?

If you are a Medicaid client, we are not allowed to handle medication other than to remind them to take them or to take the tops off the bottle. We prefer a family member to set up mediciation in a container every week and we can remind them to take it.

If you are not a Mediciaid client, we can administer medications if we have written instructions on what the medications are and how they are to be. given. We also need a signed note of authorization stating it is okay for our workers to give them their medications as directed.

  • Can I afford this type of care?

Absolutely! We offer affordable senior care designed around you. Our rates are tailored specifically for the client after a free assessment has been performed.

  • Do you have Live In's available?

Yes, we provide up to 24 hour care and live in's if needed.

  • How can I switch from my current senior care provider to Complete Home Care?

You will have to call your AR Choices or Alternative RN to let them know you want to switch agencies. The AR Choices or Alternative RN will then initiate the changes on the plan of care and will let the other agency know that you are switching agencies.
